Yes, I am alive (by default). School is a terrible inconvenience...as is work. I realized recently that applications for graduate school are due in
January so of course I am scribbling like mad hoping to have something remotely resembling a portfolio assembled within the next couple of months. Something poetically prosaic because I'm fairly certain that my poetry is not disjointed enough to be modern and therefore will be met with the ridicule of tenured professors who flaunt their avant garde (read: pretentious) books of poetry and condemn rhyme and reason.
In other words, I am starting up a liberty-oriented online literary magazine with themes centering on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If you'd be interested, inbox me here or hunt me down on facebook (
www.facebook.com/christinemari…) where I spend an obscene amount of time networking more than socializing.
So, folks, until next time (which, let's face it, could be an inordinately long time) remember this:
Life is short.
Make it count.
